Participants will interact with entrepreneurs and thought leaders driving disruption throughout the industry. The event includes two separate hour-long sessions – each free to attend. The first hour features thought-provoking presentations by industry experts discussing the topics pertinent to startups as well as all stakeholders across the supply chain. The second hour will feature six entrepreneurs presenting their product concepts and answering questions submitted by attendees. Attendees to the second session can also opt to pay for an upgraded experience and receive a tasting box to sample before, during, or after the entrepreneurs’ presentations.
The first Food Entrepreneur® Experience will be on April 28, 2021, with a second event on September 15, 2021.
James F. Richardson, PhD, is a professionally trained cultural anthropologist turned business strategist and the founder of Premium Growth Solutions, a strategic planning consultancy for early-stage consumer-packaged goods brands.
Wayne Wu is a General Partner at VMG and cohost of VMG’s Unfinished Biz podcast. He currently serves on the board of Hello Bello, Velocity Snack Brands, Lily’s, among other brands within the portfolio. Previous board roles have included Justin’s, Babyganics, and Perfect Snacks.
Jonathan Deutsch, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Food and Hospitality Management in the College of Nursing and Health Professions at Drexel University and director of the Drexel Food Lab, a culinary innovation and food product research and development lab focused on solving real-world food system problems in the areas of sustainability, health promotion, and inclusive dining.
